Right? I mean, I could get used to spending my days sitting on one of these beautiful machines, soaring across roads across the country, with no attachment or set destination. I could even order all the harley parts I’d need online, and send them directly to my mechanic of choice whenever needed (to ensure the best prices… you know how mechanics are). OK, this is probably another of my silly dreams, and I’m unlikely to just leave everything behind and set out for the open roads. But still, a man has to dream sometimes… otherwise reality just gets too overwhelming.

Don’t you just hate it when you realize how all the time you spend in the classroom as a teenager – most of it, anyways, was probably wasted time? If you can’t see what I’m talking about, maybe you can tell me some basic trivia about ancient Rome, for example? Unless you’re an historian, or unless you were a big fan of the show “Rome” I bet you don’t know much about this subject, isn’t that so? Well, that’s simply because you didn’t pay attention in class while in high-school. That’s just something that all teenagers do, and most of whom – the few lucky – actually come to regret. It’s simultaneously sad and funny how much time is wasted in our youth.

It’s no wonder people usually speak up their outrage towards the nation’s youth, right? Well, it just goes to show those people no longer remember what it’s like being a teenager. It does feel like the world is out to get you (I personally haven’t forgot about it), and sometimes my adult self cannot but wonder just how faster our civilization would progress if only we were able to properly educate our infants rather than berate them all the time. Oh well, guess the only reason I can think of it in perspective is because I don’t happen to have a teenage offspring, isn’t that right? Yeah, it’s never as easy as it sounds….

Do you remember, back in the XX century how some people were always clipping coupons from magazines and filing them away in their wallet? Sure you do… quite possibly, you were one of those people – I know I was. And I was thoroughly made fun over it by friends, colleagues and family members alike; but you know what? I never really cared, and I always felt I had the last laugh. Those small savings I made from using coupons easily added up to some considerable money… what was that old saying like? Grain by grain, the hen fills her stomach? Something like that.

Anyway, in this modern day and age I must say things have gotten much easier for coupon aficionados worldwide. With the advent of online businesses and rebinder coupon, it’s now much easier than ever, getting access to some nice savings while going about your normal consumerist routine. Sometimes all it takes is clicking in the right link, or making a simple google search for coupons, and you’ll find a magic string of words that will provide you with interesting discounts… no clipping required – you get the same results as usual with minimal hassle. And still, most people don’t really seem to bother looking for coupons when they shop on-line. It’s too bad for them, I say!

Brief digression on rustic furniture.

Hello dear, reader – and welcome. It’s a typical rainy day out there, so there’s nothing for me to do other than sit around and write a bunch of posts. With that in mind, today’s subject is rustic furniture. Why? Because I’m taking this opportunity to consider my living room (re)decoration, and rustic is where it’s at, as far as furniture trends go in 2011. Whether we like it or not, there’s a huge trend going for this unique type of furniture that shuns at the modern minimalism and aims to higher grounds of old-fashioned innovation. In other words, this kind of furniture is very much an acquired taste, I might add.

It’s actually kind of funny, since I’m usually the kind of guy who much prefers a minimalist design thing going – you know the like, plain furniture that doesn’t take a lot of room and isn’t completely over-ridden with useless baubles and memorabilia. Well, regardless of the fact, there are some pieces of rustic furniture out there which clearly look timeless and actually make an interesting complement to the acrylic-based whitish furnitures which are so common in contemporary design. As usual, I feel this is one of those situations where one can get the best of both worlds. Would you care to elaborate your feelings on the matter, as well?

The tale of a young man who did all the wrong choices.

It’s better being safe than sorry. If you don’t believe it, write down this reference just in case : Drug Narcotics Criminal Defense Attorneys . Now, let me tell you a little story… a tale of a misspent youth. A tale of a young man who did too many wrong choices, dealt with all the wrong people… and even though he was full of good intentions, he ended up in a very bad place. I really don’t feel like going into details, but suffice to say this young man is my nephew. And if we hadn’t found a competent lawyer to defend him in the court of law, he would likely had his life ruined with a few years in jail… for a crime he didn’t quite commit. Never in my life did I thought I would have to find a good drug narcotics defense lawyer… but such is life. Better being safe than sorry, right?

If you’re an aspiring webmaster, this article will provide you with some useful basics. In my opinion, the single most important thing to think about, when developing as website is the web hosting service. Most people really don’t realize this, but choosing the right host can make a world of difference in the success of your website. After all, what’s the point of setting up a website if people can’t reach it because it’s served by an unrealiable host? That’s not unlike building a castle on quicksand, in the sense it’s asking for trouble.

Anyone who’s serious about developing websites should get a full-fledged cpanel web hosting, that besides being reliable will provide several useful tools, such as visitor tracking, ftp access, and others. One of the first major mistakes I did, personally, was creating my websites in a free host. The results? I lost thousands of visitors during the first few months, because many times the website would be down. Not to mention that choosing a free host implies not having customer support whatsoever… and that’s really not helpful in getting things done.

To recap, make sure you do you research right before actually starting to develop your website. Choose a good domain name and a good host, and you’ll save yourself lots of trouble down the road!

Bookbinding DIY with Inexpensive inket cartriges.

Do you know what is my latest hobby, dear reader? Bookbinding. As in, making my own books; not writing the content, but literally putting the book together. How about that? I’ve been doing a bit of testing and fine-tuning, and I can print a full-size 200+ page book by a little over $1! Granted, to achieve this kind of cost efficiency, you’ll have to find some really inexpensive inkjet ink cartridges like I did. But once you reach this kind of price range, the sky is the limit! Can you think of all the possible applications of bookbinding?

And no, I’m not talking about making copies of commercial books (although that’s very much possible, of course). I’m talking about creating unique compilations, or devising a whooping large fanzine, printing e-books, or (why not?) writing an actual book and self-publishing the old fashioned way. If you have never heard about bookbinding, you’ll be impressed with how impeccable the results can be. In case you don’t know, bookbinding is the same method that was used traditionally to print books.

To try printing your own books, you just need a printer (and paper and printing ink, of course), and something called an “imposition software” that basically rearranges a big chunk of pages in the right order to make a signature. In bookbinding terms, a signature is simply a bunch of paper folded together, in a way that individual numbered pages remain in sequence. When you print out all the signatures in a book, you just have to sew them together, glue them to a card-stock cover, and… well, that’s pretty much it. If you have access to a guillotine that you can use to trim the book pages, then it’s more power to you! Those books you bind will look absolutely outstanding, with the right finishing touches.

Hello and welcome, dear readers! Today’s topic is casino parties… have you ever been to one? If not, you should know you’re missing out on one of life’s great pleasures. In case you don’t know what I’m talking about… well; you have been to a party, right? And you know what a casino is, I suppose? Simply put, casino parties draw the best of both worlds, and the result is nothing short of all-around a might good time.

I’ve been to a casino party in San Antonio early this month, and It was probably the best party I’ve been to the entire year. And I’m not even some kind of gambling junkie, mind you; but I do enjoy engaging the occasional wagering, and the whole setting is actually quite enticing towards that. Which reminds me, if you’re the kind of fellow who doesn’t know when it’s time to put the cards down, you better be cautious while attending to these events.

Although it’s also true that casino parties don’t necessarily revolve around wagering. It would be more accurate to describe them as casino-themes parties, actually. In simple terms, it’s just a party you’ll find people who like playing casino games such as roulette, blackjack and dice. For anyone who enjoys enjoying themselves and having some drinks in the company of cheerful people, this is a perfect program for a different party. I must say I’m impressed! I mean, I suspected there were some sophisticated spy cameras available on the mass market… but I never really looked into it. You could use them to monitor your own home, or to gather evidence against someone who’s been harassing you at work, of course. These gadgets are so diverse and innovative that you’re limited only by your imagination, when it comes to finding new applications to them.

Also, here’s a word of advice, one that I’ve been trying to follow myself: in this day and age, it’s best to let go of any illusions there is still something called “privacy”, because as these recording devices get more widespread and inexpensive… I guess they will surely redefine the way we conceive of such a thing.
