Ah… the sweet and sour teenage years. Have you ever been faced with a question so simple that you simply can’t get yourself to find a reply? It happened to me this morning; in sequence with a complex rant that I’m not going to dissect for the sake of not twisting your mind, a friend of mine proposed this simple challenge: “Just name one no-nonsense reason why Canada is not a better place to live than the USA right now”. I mean, this guy is a born and raised American and he just comes forth with this bizarre reasoning, and you know what’s worse? After making a little research, I still can’t find a single actual no-nonsense reason why Canada would not be a great place to live in right now. In fact, I found this video that almost convinced me the opposite might be true:
I really should time out this investigation before I decide I should actually pack my bags and cross those borders, but I feel rather compelled to keep it up. Just for curiosity’s sake, I’ve been checking out this Toronto Business Directory, and so far so good. Next up I’m going to look into this Canadian Citizenship Test and also a thing or two about the Online G1 Test, and … maybe it would be a nice idea trying some traditional Canadian food, just for the sake of it? Heck, maybe planning a little vacation in Canada wouldn’t be such a bad idea after all…
