You know what’s awesome? It’s not that I’m gonna play some paintball next Sunday. That’s more or less common. It’s not the fact that I’ll probably be handin’ a platter of paint-splattered asses back to their respective, humiliated owners – that just my thing. Well, let me tell you what’s awesome: it’s the simple fact that I’ll be doing my common thing in even greater style, thanks to my new tippmann paintball guns that arrived today, just on time to help bring about a whole new level of awesome, next Sunday.
If you’re into paintball as well, just do yourself a favor and check out Ultimate paintball, which in my humble opinion is one of the best online vendors dealing in assorted devices related with this noblest sport that so seamlessly mixtures war and painting.
Oh man, talk about karma. I really wouldn’t believe it unless this had just happened. But now I’m a believer, indeed. Well, to be honest I used to be the kind of person who mocked those clumsy Sunday casual type of gamers who seemed to constantly knock over vases, break light fixtures or even outright ram their Wiimotes into the TV set. Well, that was before, but now I changed my way… and in a way I’m happy to have learned a good lesson at a relatively low price.
You see, after tripping on the power adapter earlier today, my Wii went flying across the room – but somehow it doesn’t seem to have broken down from the impact (courtesy of my fluffy living room rug, I suppose). Ironically though, the power adapter was severely crushed during my Wiivasive maneuvers. Well, all in all it wasn’t so bad, and I already ordered a new Wii power adapter. More importantly, today I learned an important lesson about mockery and karma; the wise will partake this lesson, as to avoid receiving their own!
There’s a number of reasons why someone might want to measure their Internet speed, and contrary to popular belief, this is not just a matter of bragging or rubbing Internet egos. You see, there are a lot of ISP (internet service providers) out there that will charge people for a lot more than what they actually give. For example, a friend of mine was being charged for a 32 MB/s service and he was actually getting 2 MB/s (!!!) And if he hadn’t figured it out, there’s a good chance he would just keep getting ripped off, too! This is obviously an extreme scenario, but since most people really don’t have a sense of how fast an Internet connection is, many companies get away with such tricks, and oftentimes they will limit your broadband until you get around to noticing the discrepancy and filing a complaint.
That said… if you suspect this kind of thing might be happening with you, here’s a simple way to find out: just run this internet speed test and you’ll know for sure. Also keep in mind that it’s normal if your actual speed is a *little* lower than your service promises. For instance, if you’re subscribed to a 8 MB/s service, it’s acceptable if you’re getting just 5 or 6 MB/s actual speed. It would obviously not be acceptable if you were only getting 1 or 2 Mb/s, or course. So if you want to know just how fast you’re being served, take the test and make sure to demand your rights!
Before I get started, let me tell you something: I’m a big fan of girls. But when it comes to their usual gaming options… I really don’t get it! Most of the girls I know absolutely love playing games such as “The Sims” or dress-up princess or similar Girl Games. This is something that just blows me away. I think it must be a by-product of an infancy playing with dolls, but still… I did use to play with cars when I was a kid (I’m a guy of course), and nowadays I have no interest in car video games; actually to be honest I don’t really have a car and I don’t care much about getting one.
Well, I think It’s great we’re all free to play whatever kind of games we like, but when it comes to girl games, I have a really have time playing those. Maybe someday I’ll meet an amazing girl who will help me understand. Oh, well… regardless of my lack of understanding, I enjoy the idea of contributing towards every woman’s leisure, so if that’s what you want go ahead and check out this website. Cheers!
Keeping some money is always a good idea. Mostly because – like it or not – society revolves around money, so unless you have some money… you’re screwed. Times like these when the markets verge towards collapse and business is running slow all around, saving money is now an absolute must. Because it could get much worse before it gets better, you know? A good idea to keep some money safe while getting extra yield is getting a Certificate of deposit, or CD.
I was going over the CD Rates at Banks, and they offer rather competitive yield rates for a no risk CD, up to 2.5% increase per year. Aditionally, there’s a no-penalty early withdrawal option, meaning that you can claim your money back any time you feel like doing so, in case an emergency eventually arises. It’s always to keep some money stocked away for worse times, because… you never really know when it’s going to get better! So let’s hope for the best but be prepared for the worse.
Wow, now that’s what I call entertainment! In the old days, people had to trouble themselves downloading movies from the Internet, but nowadays thanks to the advent of broadband (and much to the dismay of movie studies, I suppose) it’s possible to actually Watch movies online with just a flick of a button.
Well, provided you know a good place to Watch movies via streaming that is… but I suppose you’re wise enough to read between the lines, on in this case between the link brackets. So if you’re up for some movies, go ahead and enjoy! Also… if you really like a movie, make sure to purchase the original in order to support the authors!
Granted, I know the Internet is awesome beyond words; I’ve known for quite a while now. But still I manage to get surprised every now and then. Well, in case you’re wondering why I think it’s such a blessing (no it’s not because of porn) it quite simple: never in the history of mankind have we had access to such an enourmous and readily availabl worldwide repository of information. Nowadays you can learn everything about anything, including the kind of perspective that usually doesn’t fit in books: raw personal experience.
For example, I’ve been making some research on hair transplant (well, I don’t need it right now actually, but I have a feeling I’ll most likely need it in a few years), and while I hoped to find some forums where I could read from people who’ve experienced this inovative procedure, I actually found something that surpasses my expectations: A full-fledged hair transplant social network that is entirely dedicated to this topic – including of course a traditional hair transplant forum, thriving with personal views and experiences on this subject. How about that? This community was devised as a kind of save haven for people of all walks with manifest interest on hair transplant: either they’re veterans, physicians, possible patients or just curious!
The place is just bursting with information, from simple articles to videos, photos and actual blogs from people who’ve had this procedure done.So needless to say, anyone who’s getting worried about a receding hairline will positively benefit from checking out this place.
Do you know what’s one of the most entertaining things I can think of, this time of the year – as the sun starts getting warmer and more inviting? Well, I really like packing up lunch or go get some take away, and just head out for a picnic. Nature sure is a wonderful thing, just as long as you figure out how to avoid some technicalities which can get quite aggravating.
Let’s take mosquitoes for example: to be honest – right now I’m happy to realize it’s the beggining of mosquitoes season. You know why? Those little buggers are a sure shot indicator that summer time is around the corner. All the while, I have no plans of being mosquito fodder, so I’ve been looking around fo an effective mosquito trap. I sure hope that thing works, because mosquito bites is probably the single important thing I dislike about going outdoors.
