Lots of things to do in Hollywood… where do I start?

Have you ever been to hollywood? Well, I haven’t – I must confess. And all the while, I don’t think the life of a modern day American can ever be complete without visiting the mecca of movies, and taking the full package while doing so: checking up the Hollywood hills up close, taking a stroll through the walk of fame, and of course meeting a few celebrities up close… or at least getting to know one of the several celebrities look-alikes that are so popular nowadays. Yes indeed, there’s much to see in the land of stars, and if you’ve never been there once, maybe it’s about time you think of doing so!

In case you don’t know where to start, I’ll give you a little help. First and foremost you’ll of course be needing a place to sleep, right? So here’s a good reference to hotels in hollywood , as well as hollywood florida hotels. Now, having found a good place to sleep-over, you’ll need a good plan! There’s much to see in Hollywood, so unless you’re planning to stay for a couple of weeks, you’ll better organize your trip beforehand. To this effect, there are many websites that can be of use, and you might also want to get one of those tourist’s guides. Well, otherwise you may just be happy about getting there and roaming around!

I’m a big fan of Quentin Tarantino, and today I was caught by surprise when I noticed his newest flick is already up and running! Yeah sometimes I just snooze as life goes by, but anyway… it’s a GREAT thing the movie is already out there! I’m SO going to watch it this afternoon, and I’m quite excited about it – there’s a solid 99.9% chance it’s going to be awesome, judging from the trailer. So in case you’ve been distracted too, here’s a trailer for… those INGLORIOUS BASTERDS.

The strangely familiar case of Forrest Button!

If you’ve watched the movie “The Strange Case of Benjamin Button”, there’s a good chance you found yourself caught up in a strange feeling of Deja Vu, right? This movie was written by Eric Roth, who also authored Forrest Gump, around 15 years ago… and apparently, the author decided it was about time to put a little spin on the good old tried and true formula that earned him an Oscar back in the day. Now, don’t get me wrong… I actually think Benjamin button is a good movie, and I really wouldn’t mind if it was an actual remake to Forrest Gump. But in truth, there’s no direct connection between both movies… except, perhaps the obvious:
